As always, pure gold in Leanne’s articles.

Love this part:

…micro-moments add up to macro-impressions...

Oh, thanks, Jade! And yes, we're constantly signalling which is equal parts great AND terrifying haha. But a microphone made me memorable? So good!

Ken, we are, so big high fives to you. Btw, I LOVED your article. Can we give it up for bag hooks in bathrooms?! Yes, it's the tiny details that make a huge difference.

Yes! A female friend told me this years ago, and it has always stuck in my mind. Similar is towel hooks behind doors in hotel bathrooms...

Honestly, I didn't think this article would be about a microphone lol! But you're right. People who sound odd don't convey authority.

One of my most popular articles is about using your voice to sound confident in presentations. It was a lot more popular than the article on body language which surprised me.

I've got a Blue Yeti mike which I was very proud of until the leader of a Mastermind I'm in described it as a 'cheap and basic model that's a good starter mike'! Now I just need an arm for it as I don't think having it balanced on an upside-down Tupperware container does much for my credibility.
