One of the reasons I like hanging out with you Leanne is that you're ahead of me on the tech-adoption curve. The best use cases I saw in your piece were name recall in meetings (imagine doing that in a group of 50 or 100!) -- and of course, posturing in a restaurant about wine. I'm totally ignorant of the latter but for some reason, waiters assume I know what I want to order.

Downside: I'm so short sighted their prescription model doesn't go as far as my eyes demand. Damn.

I'm totally ignorant of the latter, too, and you're right, this would be a fun dinner flex. Oh, sorry to hear your prescription isn't covered (yet)!!

Can't wait to see the 3 key issues raised at the Dog Park :)

I wonder if the glasses remember dog names, too?!

Probably the sort of thing you have to try before you know whether you like it. Plant identification would be great, but still reliant on Google I assume (the downside of planting a lot of wildflower seeds is they don't tell you on the packet what you're getting so I'm always checking for weeds).

Also, will people start avoiding people who wear the glasses? I can see this happening at work, you'd have to be so careful about what you said to who.

Personally, I'll wait and see.

11/10 this is all speculation, and will be fascinating (and terrifying!) to see what actually works. Oh and legislation on any of these things is so far behind… but isn’t that the story with all the AI disruption on society? It’s the Wild Wild West!

I said I’d never wear an Apple Watch. Now I do, and I love it. So - never say never!

That's right! I love my Apple Watch, too. So curious to see how these glasses actually go day-to-day. Look forward to reporting back!
