Thanks for outlining the thought process. The gold in this for me was this:
"Right (slightly obnoxious) question: "Do people trust me enough to commit to something that barely exists?""
For us consultants reading this: this 'leap of faith' is what we're ALWAYS asking our clients to do when they 'buy' from us. Thanks Leanne ----- and counting down the remaining 291 days.
That we are! We have to sell the vision, the idea, almost "the fantasy" of what can happen when we partner with our clients. Look forward to seeing you back in Queensland, Andrew!
Thank you for this detailed review Leanne. Watching you do this has sparked SO many ideas and paradigm shifts.
This piece is especially pertinent, to me

Yes, running events, even if you're a seasoned pro, is FREAKIN' hard work ... and the question of 'how do I fill the seats' is exhausting (to me).
I think there's a fascinating nuance in your 'right question' ... and you've identified it in your ( ) ... it feels obnoxious to believe, let alone say out loud that people want what YOU'LL create. Yet, in an over crowded market of events (and advice), this is the very model of leadership. It's the rockstar approach ... trust the fandom of your reputation.
As for the value of nurturing your fan base 😉, there is no better demonstration!
It is an exhausting one figuring out how to fill those seats. I did have to caveat the "right" question because it IS slightly obnoxious, right. Like.. "How dare I weave some fiction and see what lands" - I call it fiction because it's not real (yet), and yet, isn't that what vision is? Thanks for being part of it, and joining the live-stream as well last night, Cat!! Look forward to seeing what you create.
