I had a similar experience: I just worked a week long entrepreneurs personal development retreat and that was simply because I emailed the founder off the back of seeing an Instagram advert, saying it was happening down the road from me and I was happy to help out, given it aligned with my background and passions. It was the most awesome week! And has led to getting to know more people I can help with my leadership work. There’s never anything to lose by just asking 🔥
